Is this any good Durahide bicast leather.?

Bicast leather is a split hide with a polyurethane coating on the surface. It cannot be sold as leather in the UK although I think in the USA this is different.

The top coating on Bicast can be very hard wearing but it needs protecting in the same way as leather as it is very susceptible to body oils which will destry the finish and is at present unrepairable.
