Im going 2 get a room makeover!what theme should it be?
Question:i thought beach kind. . . but without the sand or ocean! just like a beach room kind or sumthing like that i cant explain!
Answers:
Either light aqua or sea foam green walls with white trim. Accessorize with shells, netting (hang on wall), If you have hardwood floors, get a sisal or seagrass rug. You can use tiki torches for decoration, but I wouldn't burn them in the house. If there's room in a corner, get a hanging hammock chair. For accent colors, use bright colors; turquoise, green, red, pink, yellow, blue. Bedding with large tropical flowers, and sheer curtains on the windows will make it feel light and breezy, yet fun!
You should do something that you love and arent going to want to change in a year or two.
LIke if you really like the beach but dont want the ocean or sand. Do colors repersenting stuff at the beach like the sun-yellow or orange or the water-light blue.
IT would be a really relaxing atmosphere.

if you got this in blue and white stripes then you could easily match up nautical accessories
and if you get tired of the nautical/beach accessories you can easily used the duvet cover and make your room a different theme..
Do some nautical colors if thats what you wish like navy blue and some sailor themes, light houses if you wish to do something more sephisticated. But if you are looking for something more fun put some lawn chairs in there and use lais and fun tiki stuff. wall color is very important in case you change your mind find something more neutral so it will go with everything you wish.
try a boardwalk theme with like signs and ancors and games
Go get a Coastal Living magazine from the bookstore or look it up online. It has lots of short articles with lots of pictures of beautiful homes both inside and out. You will get some good ideas on what makes up a beach style home. Off the top of my head, I think of crisp blue and white striped fabrics, soft yellow walls, white wood trim, wood floors, shells, etc.l
