Answers:

No problem.
yes.
As long as both are properly installed and maintained.
dont know
try it.
if you blow up, start a neighborhood fire and lose all your hair, then we know its a bad idea.
if not then it should be ok.
i used to and no problems
gas central heating.. no problem. virtually all gas based central heating system are enclosed / sealed units so it shouldnt be a problem.
the only time I could see there being a problem is if you had an open fire, or other open gas device (ie where there is nothing between you and the flames) and if the fan disturbed the airflow, such that the by products of combustion didn't vent correctly.. but I think thats so improbable that even with an open gas fire you would have a problem... if you are concerned try to ask a question of a corgi registered plumber or mate.
It should b ok as long as the room is ventilated & appliances are serviced regularly.
Yes its fine. If you have never had gas heat before you may want to invest in a carbon monoxide detector. Chances are you will never need it however the peace of mind is well worth the cost.
Yes, its fine
Yes
Is the fan purely for air circulation or extraction? if it is an extractor fan then it would cause down draft in the flue, pulling fumes from the fire into the room.
