Is it strange to paint your room hot pink?
Question:
Answers:
No, I think pink is a calming color that sooths the senses whenever you see it. It is a lovely color that goes well with curtains and new bedspreads. I give you 2 thumbs up on the pink room. Goodluck convincing your mom to let you. Best of luck,

Not if you are addicted to Pepto Bismol!
if you're a 45 year old priest, then yes...
I wouldnt do hot pink, it is too bright and youwill probably get sick of it. Try a pink that isnt very bright, or hot.
it depends if you are a turkey like in your picture then yes but if you are a 12 year old girl then no
No, use shades of orange, shades of purple or shades of blue. Use 30% of one of the abve to compliment the pink and 10% of another to accent your room. One as a bedspread and window treatments and then another for pillows, a throw, lamp shades, rug, etc.
You can use green as your rug, white sheets and also add the green on your windows. Repeat the green and pink in your artwork. Use white as your trim.
Use a brown undertone hot pink and repeat in your bedcovering. Roll it down to the foot of the bed in a deeper shade of pink. Lavendar could also look good.
Hot pink is in.
Have fun.
It is good to have calming colors in the bedroom, but, it is also good to use colors you love.
If hot pink is a fav of yours, you might consider painting one wall hot pink and use lots of accessories with hot pink, like pillows, some sheers, lamps, a side table cloth and use softer colors for the other 3 walls.
If the intensity is too much, paint is pretty inexpensive and you can tone it down.
I disagree with Chillin - I think orange or purple with Pink are poor combinations. You will get tired of a room painted pink.
The walls should be off white and the drapes or window coverings should be an avacado green.
Then hang your paintings and/or posters to create individual ambience.
Place dark green Persian Rugs on floor.
