I need a contractor to install Stone Veneer on my front porch in NC?

Question:I am looking to hire someone to install some Stone Veneer on my front porch. It's a pretty small area. But, I have no idea how to find someone that does this. Any ideas? Also, what do you think they would charge, if all the materials are provided? The area is about 200 sq ft or less.

We have the stone veneer on the front of our home, just had it installed a little over a year ago and the total square footage was roughly 700. We paid 16,000, but that was for labor and materials and for a two-story home. I'm guessing 10,000 of that was labor alone, so divide that by 3 and you could be looking at 2 or 3K in labor alone. If it is just for your front porch, you might be able to do it yourself. SOME brick masons do this, so I would start calling around to see if you can find someone on your own or you can ask for referrals from the places that sell the product you are wanting to use. They should be able to refer you to someone who installs the product. It isn't easy to find people who do this though, as most masons prefer to do brick.
