Bedspreads??
Question:Well im getting a new adopted sister and we are going to share a room. I dont know what colors she likes but my mom wants the room to be done when we get her. What colors would be good?

I think you should try to convince your Mom to wait until she moves in. This way, she can be part of the decision. And that will probably make her feel more like it's really her home too, rather than coming home to an already decorated room. Also, it will be good practice for the two of you to come to a compromise with each other. After all, you're sharing a room with her. I think she would probably feel very happy that she's being included in this. Tell your mother what I said and see what she thinks.

it depends really how old she is. i feel like a lot of girls like blues and greens in their rooms though. and white always looks good with that too

Some great colors for teen girl's bedrooms right now are hot pink, orange, blue, purple. Do something fun with great throw pillows for accents. Congratulations on getting a new sister.

well try to pick colors you might like...usually if ya dont know this..do them in abeige or white..then you cna always redo it later ..butis an added expense...paint it the colors you like and maybe leave some of it for her to help with..would make her feel more lik a part of the family...
The answer is: what ever color she likes. Tell your mom to pick out a plain comforter, and solid color sheets (ideally white). Then, when she arrives, tell her that you wanted to make her as comfortable as possible, but that she should feel free to put her own unique touches on the room. Then take out to the store where she can pick out a duvet cover in what ever colors or patterns she likes.
