Question:how would you accessorize dark leather couches? i need idaes becuase when you have dark furniture you need what? how do i go about this? the style is contemporary.i need to brighten the room. thankyou in advance.

I assume you are asking to accessorize the couches specifically? Use light colored throw pillows and maybe a couple of light colored throws.
you need one color to accent.
IE red pillows and curtains
If it is black you can go with bright colors like red, if it is dark brown go with more mute colors like a soft green.
how about some colorful pillows, because at my house we have some pretty pillows that r purple with some kool leaves. and that looks great w/ them

Dark leather couches would go great with bright red accents. Just watched a show on the DIY channel the other day and that's what the decorator used. It looked awsome. I'm thinking about redecorating myself and that is one color scheme I'm contemplating. If couch is brown, you could also go with a sage green or a yellow.
I am not into leather, as it is too hot, so I have no idea, but be curious to see the advise you get from others. Ask solmeone that sells leather furniture. Surely somone on Yahoo tho will have the answer . God bless you .
You need some color.like red or yellow pillows or throw blanket and add some sparkle too with a mirror, glass vase or a clear glass lamp. If your rooms are all connected (visible from room to room i.e. living room or dining room is visible from family room) make sure to continue the use of that specific color into each visible room..
People will think you are an interior decorator.
