I live in an old neighborhood. The most common color combined with pink is black...seen it in a bath and kitchen.

For walls? I'd stick with white, and accent in light greens, darker shades of pink, pale yellows and blues (pastels).
Look up "shabby chic" on google to get ideas.

Okay, everyone else think like amateurs. If you want an updated modern look. Pink looks chic with chocolate browns and tans.
60's pink with a silvery gray...or for an updated look use a deep blue...close to navy. Think in terms of deep, rich saturated color.

a friend of mine just did her pink with a gray laminate floor and painted from the tile (1/2 way up wall) to the top in white. The accent color was a seafoam green , purchased a really nice silk shower curtain at target that is seafoam and pink. it is a really sharp looking bath room. She also found a vintage white cloths hamper with a pink poodle on it . i would have never thought of those two colors together but it realy look nice and target had nice things to match the shower curtain. Did you know you can paint that tile too !!
light mint green goes well with pink..beige..white or black..light blues as well...
Let me guess: you live in an older building in the Northeast! I also have pink and black bathroom tile and my mother helped me brainstorm and we found that grey and black worked best. We also shot some white in there so it wouldn't get too bogged down. It almost has a Hollywood feel to it now! I even put up some ornamental mirrors and a picture frame that looks like a piece of celluloid. Good fun!
Well, are you from the NorthEast? I can remember back, so I am now dating myself. And I could definitely be wrong, since everyone is agreeing to the 60's, but I think it was in the 50's. Doo Wah.
Either the green, (like the C45) was used in the bathroom capped off with a black tile. (The walls usually ran up halfway). White was predominately used on the walls. Floor tiles were god awful. They were grey with strains of green and black. Or, if it were the pink, they had the grey with black strains. Towel bars, soap dish, and cup holder were all ceramic in the matching color.
You can't go wrong with using, grey, black or the green in your accents with the pink but I would keep the wall white.
If it were the mid 60's then psychodelic was the thing. Are you trying to reproduce the 60's look? And is this a bathroom? What is on your floor now?
For a modern look, I once did a bathroom with a limestone floor, tan mosaic tile in the shower bordered with darker shades of brown. I used the green glossy tiles halfway up the wall, at least to accommodate the height of my sink and a little higher, with clean white walls and a white pedestal sink against the green tile with chrome or brush nickle fixtures. Added some teak and crisp white towels and a waffle robe for a spa feel. An of course, some candles. If you don't have a shower door, use a white shower curtain with a greek key pattern or you could use a monogramed one.
