Does anyone know how to get a glue stain off of an acrylic peice?
Question:not acrylic as in PAINT acrylic but the material acrylic. i used gorilla glue by the way. it wont budge. anyone know of any tricks to take that sucker off the acrylic?
Answers:
Gorilla glue is polyurethane. Practically nothing dissolves poly so you are looking at mechanical removal. Use a sharp scraper and be very careful.
Googone. Not sure on the spelling. Try your local walmart. Take lots of sticky tages, glues, etc right off.

You may try a product called "Goo b Gone" Available in hardware stores. But be careful as some plastics can be disolved by the product.
Gorilla glue is a good, slow drying product. Were you repairing your acrylic?
I would go to their web site for a specific answer.
Because Gorilla Glue is a polyurethane glue, anything that will soften it will damage the acrylic to some degree. A razor blade used gently may be your best bet. In any case, I don't think you will get away without some sort of damage to the acrylic.
