Room ideas?
Question:hi my little sister keeps asking me to help her she is 12 years old and wants her room decorated but she dont no wether to have ruby and cream or black and pink dare in mind she likes all this emo rock lz help xx

Have ruby walls and cream borders. Get cute curtains that match... like cream curtains. Get a canopy with stars on it, and perhaps she can paint her door saying "Welcome to my roomr" with ruby colored paint, and in the background spray paint it cream colored. Hope it helps!
Ruby and cream - as she grows up these colours will still be suitable whereas pink and black may seem too young.
Black and Pink if she is emo
Don't you just love little sisters. Tell her black will make the room dark all the time. Red will make her angry, so how about pink and cream, and accessorise with black and red!!
Have her close her eyes and imagine her ideal room. I think the Black and Pink fits the emo feel nicely but she's the one who has to live with it. Most girls go through a major change in attitude around her age...has that happened yet? If not, wait a little while until she does, or she may change a bit and end up hating whatever you guys do. Paint the walls cream and paint little red roses randomly, maybe close to the floor so it looks like the roses are falling to the floor. If she doesn't have a bed frame for the bed, buy a simple cheap one. The ones that look like a gold or iron frame (not wood) might work well in a emo/gothic look and take up less space than wooden ones. Also, it will still look pretty if she decides to change the room later. Use white bedding if you decide to buy new ones. Red might look funny in a children's room and black will also look weird. Well, just see what will fit into the room but will also be useful when she no longer likes the emo look, since sheets can be kept for quite a few years. Pillows are easier to change and not too expensive, so use those. Maybe some emo dolls like Elmo.. ^ ^
Hang up posters of her favorite bands on one of the walls and pictures could also be hung up. Put a seat cover on her desk chair maybe. It could be a star pattern or have those really little hearts in pink and black or something. Hmmm... Maybe make a nice place to sit (the bed) and listen to music. Like, it will be very nice if you have a little table where she can recharge her cell phone, put down the keys and wallet, CD or other music player, batteries, etc. You know, one place where she can keep all of that kind of stuff. And hang up some CD racks on the walls to hold CDs.
