How can you compare mattresses in different stores?
Question:Same mattress, same manufacturer, different name, different price. What gives?? For instance, a Serta Galloway Plush/Firm at Sam's costs $432.88 and a Serta Arrington at Big Lots is $449.99. I've heard that mattress manufacturer's sell the idential mattress to different retailers and change only the name, the mattress cover, and the price point. So how can I tell where to get the mattress with the features I want at the best price, regardless of the retailer or the name of the mattress??

Since everyone has different body weights, sleeping positions, neck-back-hip issues, and personal comfort preferences, only you can determine (through trial and error) which type of mattress configuration is the most comfortable.

Just go to one store, find a mattress you like. Copy down it's list of features and price. Then, go to another store and find a mattress with the same features. Do the same at a few different stores and just compare the prices.
