How do i stop my ikea futon from creaking! Its made of wood?

We were stupid enough to spend a lot on it.. And spent extra on the futon mattress too which is so thin that i folded it and used it only on the seating part.. and a attached a double folded comforter to the back to support the back..
But even now , this stupid futon lets out a horrible creak when anyone sits on it.. My Friend says its just bcecause its wood, as i paid a professional a lot of money to assemble it correctly..
I cant afford a new sofa or anthing right now.. Can someone please help me by telling me how to stop the creaking? Its so embarrasing when people visit and sit on it!..
Its assembled correctly.. And this futon model is a sofa bed too , so its higher in front and lower at back.. please look at the website pic and details

First loosen the bolts and buy some Bee'z wax's. Put it in between the wood joints. Then tighten all the bolt. Works great on any bed that squeaks. You can also try paifon wax it's the same as candle wax.
That happens to most wood futons. Ours too, and it is an expensive one with the extra thick mattress.
Call Ikea and ask them. You might have a warranty on it.
Because of the knock-down nature of Ikea furniture, by design, the joints aren't solid -- which means movement in the joints, which means creaks. The only fix is to disassemble it and apply a lubricant -- bee's wax, parafin -- even a bar of soap will work. See if you can identify the worst noise-offendor joints, and maybe you'll luck out and not have to disassemble the whole thing. While you're at it, wax the grooves the top and bottom slide in, to make it easier to open and close the futon.
There are some great answers here, but if you can't or are unwilling to do them, or if they don't work, do what people have done for centuries: Learn to enjoy it. In fact, there is a saying that a rocking chair without a squeak is one without soul. Why not a futon? Just give the squeak a name and personality, and nobody will care. It is embarrassing only because you see it that way. Life is too short to let things like this get you down.
It is higher in front to make sitting more comfortable. Unfortunately, it doesn't help one get up out of it with any degree of grace or comfort. Get some comforters from the thrift shop and make (or have a friend make) a long slipcover the size and shape you need for the seating--like a long pillow. Fold the comforters into the shape you want and put them in the slipcover. Put fancy tassels (get them at the fabric store) on the ends or corners just for fun.
Layer all your comforters under the futon mattress when you use it for a bed, and it should be okay. If not, you can get some dense foam rubber anywhere from an inch to three inches thick to put under it, but you need somewhere to stash it when not in use--under a bed or standing up in a closet.. The good thing about the futon as it is, is that you are unlikely to have unwanted spongers hanging about very long.
I spray things that squeak with WD 40, works for me .
