I need some decorating help..?
Question:i am moving in with my friend to help him and me financially. He has an apartment with 1 big bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen, small dining area, and a just guessing about 15 feet by15 feet ft living room. now the living room is going to bacisally be my room and still be the living room. i am thinking about getting a futon so during the day a sofa and during the night my bed. anyway we have no type of imagination on how to set the up and make it look hot. does anyone have any ideas on what we can do, how to set it up, any pictures or links that can give us some direction. Thanks alot for your imput

A futon is a great idea and very easy to decorate around. If your room is 15 x 15 you have lots of space and that's a very good thing.
I like black covers on futons because so many things go with black and it makes accessorizing so easy with great bright colored pillows. You can put bold colored art on the wall framed in black . Red is a great color with black. You could get a red leather chair or if money is an issue, bean bag chairs like the ones in the picture someone sent you are very inexpensive. Directors chairs are easier to get out of and very versatile.
A colorful rug and an inexpensive coffee table made from wood cubes looks good also. You will need a chest of some sort for your clothes but it can double as a decorative chest.
Target has great lamps and wall shelves to compliment this contempory style.
Slick and modern that is the look!
