Ceiling ideas...?
Question:so i once saw an episode of extreme home makeover and they put little led lights in the ceiling of the kids room to look like stars... has any one ever heard of this and better yet know a website that explains how to do this and where to buy every thing?? thanks!

you dont have to install those little led light, a normal ceiling lamp or table lamp can do the tricks. but make a custom screen, paper or transparent plastic wrap, paint it back, leave some white dots and make it like stars, just cover the lamp, the whole room are stars. you can actually buy these kinda lamp from retail store like home depot. but if you want the stars sparkle, then you might want those led light, those Christmas chain-lights can do the tricks.
They actually use fiber optic tubes. Don't know where to suggest you look. Might do a search on "fiber optic lights".
There are many adhesive decals to suit your needs. Check your local hardware/paint/decorator outlet.
try the programme you saw they usually have a website for the channel you watch these days.

it's soooooooo easy
I've done it with Xmas lights
just drill wholes where you want the lights and feed them through from above the ceiling (wire hidden)
then connect to electric supply
