This depends on what type of leather you have and what has caused the scuffs.
If it is an aniline style leather and the scuffs are just surface scratches then they might disappear with the use of Leather Protector.
If you have a pigmented leather that has been scuffed (ie delivery damage or buckles from shoes etc.) you will need to have an exact colour mixed to match the colour of your leather otherwise the repair will look dreadful.
Do not be tempted by DIY colour mixing kits which will not work and you will not be able to match the colour yourself.
Go to any furniture store and there you can buy a kit which can resolve your issue, not to expensive either
I used to use leather cleaner for my English riding saddle from Stubbon (english saddle maker). You might want to consult where you bought the leather couch from they might have a line suited for your couch specifically however, we had a chair that scuffed easily and the leather cleaner from my saddle worked GREAT!
