u can use almost any color with a brown. Off white would look good and help keep the room from looking too small. Throw in some bright color cushions or pillows to lighten the room up
brown or white would look good!!??
light color would be the best, but it depends on your style that you are aiming for. Good luck!
ok.. i looked at u'r color & according to online it kinda looks light w/ poss a mocha tint. Am i close or is the website off?
It kinda really depends on u'r taste. If u'r going for something more modern, poss. black/charcoal/poss more a rose-grey. Or more neutral colors.. U could get away w/ a deep blue almost navy. Closer to a maroon or tone w/ red/pink in it. I've looked at the greens & it would b a tuff call by looking at the pix.
whites/off whites/cremes/beige w/ a rose tint/same w/ a tan but if u go that route, i may go for something w/ a print.
do u have a sample of the paint? Then when u go shopping, take it with u so u can come close to matching up to the furniture. If u'r going for wood... mahogony or cherry would look good with it. Even black if u 'r leaning more contemporary. I would either keep to a print/ or make sure u get printed pillows for the couch if u get a solid color. To add some pop & texture.
U won't b able to match the color exactly but then again, u don't want to. U want to b able to get close to the hue group or something that would blend w/ the color.
Just by lookin at it, that's what i'm getting.
Have fun!
ivory or if you wanna go lighter then offwhite. but i saw 2 colors on the bmoore site that looked awesome. lambskin and pearl harbor
It would have been nice of you to give us the link to the paint color you're talking about...
Anyhow, I'll do my best here, but it also depends on what style of furniture you like, and what mood you want the room to have...
So, my completely subjective idea is this: I'm thinking the Café Olé brown is dark espresso coffee brown. I'd aim for a zen feeling, because that's what I prefer and what makes me happy. I'd pair the wall color with dark black ebony wood and keep everything else natural (think bamboo, metals - hardware on drawers and decorative objects; baskets, woods, etc.) But you'd hate this if you're a person who loves the country decor... So give us more info. I'll be happy to help more...
