Installing recessed lighting in unfinished basement with drywall?

Question:I was wondering if installing recessed lighting with drywall is hard? since the basement if unfinished i'm sure I would have to install the recessed lighting first, then put up the drywall. how should I go about this? no water pipes in basement where drywall is going.

Answers:
Since the drywall is not up, then it should be real easy if you are familiar with electrical work. Just lay things out first and decide on where you want them and where you want the switches to go and if you want three way switches, that way you can turn the lights on/off from either at the head of the stairs or at the bottom of the stairs. I would use #14/3 W/grd Romex for the runners on the 3 way switches. good luck.

Here's a spot that might help you.
