There are many different densities and thicknesses and hence costs, if you are looking for foam cusioning. Best way to find out is to look at a fabric store or their website. If you are just looking for stuffing kind of cushioning it is relatively cheap, but remember you get what you pay for.
To save money, go to a fabric outlet store - in particular those that cater toward just upholstery, curtain fabrics rather than clothing fabrics. You can usually get a much better deal at those.
Don't get too stingy and try and put thinner ones stacked together, you'll find that they slide all over, and glue won't hold them.
