What color paint goes with mint green?

Question:Im moving next weekend and in my room there is one wall that the owner said is light/mint green and the rest are white, and I want to paint another wall a different color, but not brown or tan

Answers:
pale peach or creamy yellow or lavender

Try an off white ...like ecru or almond.
OR go to the paint store and get some sample strips of paint and bring them home and make a decision in your new room.
A soft pink or a baby blue...
look into color wheels. they should have nice combination. look online or at your local paint shop.
green comes from blue+yellow. so one of these colors , or a nuteral like gray, should match but with the same degree (of lightness)

here you can play around with colors that match mint (or on this site it's called summer sigh)
i suggest you use a toned down red or pink, however during the year this may look christmas-ey
another good paint to match would be a goldish color.
If I'm reading your answer correctly then you plan to have 1 wall light mint green, 1 wall another new colour & the 2 walls that are left to be white.

If I'm right that means that you will end up with 3 colours in the room. At the moment the rooms colour scheme is designed to make it look bigger & with white predominating it would. It would be a shame to make it look smaller.

If it were me, I would leave the room as is. I would introduce a 3rd colour with soft furnishings such as cushions, bed cover etc. That would be easy to do. For me, I'd go purple. Very dramatic.

Anyway, even though I disagree with your plans I suggest you get some paint colour schemes brochures from the paint store. That way you can look at a vast selection of choices rather than for me to give you a few. If you decide to go with the soft furnishings then you could still use the paint brochures to get ideas on colours for them.
Mint green and dark brown are pretty
A nice soft peach might be nice. It all depends on what colors are in you fabrics/accessories. But in any event be sure to get some mint green throw pillows for your upholstered pieces, so that the mint green will have a reason for being there. Good luck in your new home.
