Spray Paint Instead Of Paint?
Question:Hi, I just took down my closet doors, and now using it as just an open area to have my tv, lamp, and things in, and the problem is..it's white, boring, and plain! Can..Or should I use spray paint, as paint, to throw color on it?! Would that be a bad idea??

I think it's a good idea. If you make a mistake it won't show up much in a closet space. But keep in mind most of the wall will be blocked by your tv and furniture so don't go out of your way to create a detailed mural.
If you use spray paints, cover your nose and mouth with a rag and spray on lightly. Too heavy a spray and it will run and look sloppy. Several light coats is better.
You could go for a blended look using several different colors, overspraying the edges of the first color lightly with the second color, etc. You could even try a bit of gold spray paint.
Be sure too to cover the floor before you start painting.
Spray paint is OK, but you will have to deal with the over spray cloud getting all your stuff and breathing it in. A good roller and a 3in brush should be the way to go or find a kid in the area that would like to make some money and get some practice and stay out of trouble.
I wouldn't use spray paint. It is hard to get an even coat over a large area with that stuff. It will also take much longer than to just roll it.
Hang a sheet back there if you want or pick up a roll of inexpensive wallpaper or even wrapping paper. That's going to be the easiest (and cleanest) route to take.
Don't use spray paint.
Spraying will give a lot of smell and overspray.
Get some acrylic house paint and a 7 inch pencil roller.
Good luck

I wouldn't use spray paint.on anything really unless you have to! (Too hard to control the coverage, and spray paint looks cheap, imo)
The other people here pointed out that spray paint doesn't cover easily and smells horrid.
If you don't want to take the time to paint the inside of your closet to add color, you could always tack up a drapery panel, shower curtain or flat sheet with either thumbtacks or staples. That would be the simplest way to add color (without the mess of paint!)
I would NOT use spray paint. You will end up with spray paint dust on everything in your house.
