What colors should I paint my bedroom walls?
Question:Right now they're light blue, and I'm getting tired of them. What would be a pretty, but not too-stanting-out color?
Answers:
How about going a shade darker? A tropical, Caribbean blue.a light turquoise? I've noticed it's trendy to decorate in shades of turquoise, brown, and splashes of white throughout the room. Of course, they say green is the most peaceful color.perhaps something in the olive family if you're looking for tranquility. Sweet dreams. If you like the blue idea, you could add rattan shades, maybe a sisal rug and a few green tropical plants to create your own oasis.
how about rainbow colors..that way u will never get tired of it...
I think you should go with red and white but hey that was just a suggestion.
a VERY SOFT PALE GREEN. Green looks good with many other colors, You can make your room very feminine when you combine the pale green with a light yellow. White lacy curtains, etc.
Various shades of black.
I like sage green, soft buttery yellow, ivory, warm grey. I also just painted this color in my master bath room that looks like a dark rich orange. the floors are chocolate brown marble. i painted the oak look vanity a distressed ivory to match with the frame on some art work i put in there. ART in the bathroom? SURE. you should decorate every room and that includes the kitchen and bath. Put nice colors, accessories, and even flowers in every room.make your place a spa like retreat.
I think pink and green would be cute. It's girly, and it never gets old.
I love a very pale yellow. It keeps the room bright and cheery and it will not clash with anything. It is the color of my guest bedroom and I get more compliments on it than any other room. I wish I would have used it for my bedroom (it is currently pale colonial blue).
Move ligher to a soft baby pink or soft light green. A lilac color would probably be nice too. Light soft colors always work best in bedrooms because they're not so bold that they keep you up at night and make the space overwhelmed like my ORANGE room! Ugh I can't stand it. But anyway, have fun painting!
Pale green (celery, sage, etc)
Dusky lavendar
Pale peach
Pale pink
Almond, Wheat, Pale taupe
Pale yellow
Any nice pastel, cream, or you can go deep colors with white trim depending on your bedding --
chocolate, deep olive/gold, deep burnt orange, deep blue.
I would go to your local hardware/paint store and pick out some chips/palettes you like and then hang them up on your walls for a few days and decide.
I like and have been painting for allot of customers. Beige any tone Cinnamon is a nice one. Its just more restfully (I sleep in my bed room) and the sun in morning isn't blaring on a bright color. Good luck
