Looking for ideas on how to paint my bedroom..?

Question:I just recently painted my room a light, cool gray color that is on the white-ish side. My room was origionally a gross beige color that looked pink in some lighting (like that when we moved here). I also bought a darker gray paint and a white paint. I want to try and use these colors with what I've already got, but I have a bunch of ideas and none of them I'm like, yeah! My furniture is black and I will have black and white photos.
I like stars and I was playing with the idea of having some of them on the wall in the colors, but I still can't decide. I don't want something that will take hours upon hours to do either. Just something somewhat simple but something that stands out. Like maybe doing something fun on just one wall.

Answers:
You could paint your ceiling a darker gray and then get a white star shaped sponge. you could sponge white stars on you dark gray ceiling.

a simple way of spicing up a room is to paint one wall a different, brighter/deeper color. example: keep three walls grey and paint one a deep red or something. or you can paint each wall a different shade of the same color - different shades of grey could be very nice.
I had the same problem as u until I used grey and white stripes going the tall way on the walls. I also made the ceiling white and bought glow-in-the-dark stars for the ceiling. I'm really happy with my decision.☻☺

I would suggest using paint. Enought to adequately cover the walls.
Shades of colors should go from dark to light if you go from the wall to the middle of the room - OR the opposite way. You change shades when you layer. For instance, WALLS and PICTURES should contrast. A PLANT (real or not) pops away from the wall, so it should be an opposite (dark or light color) from its background. A piece of furniture in front of the plant should be an opposite contrast to the plant. It all gives depth, like your room is deeper than it really is. It's like looking at a picture of a dog in a field. First, there should be an out of focus leaf in the corner of the picture to give depth.

Your colors are perfect for blending and fading. Experiment with contrast.
I wd advise using lighter shades because: 1. wall paints become darker in shade over time. 2. If the beige keeps coming up, first apply a coat of flat wall latex (for concrete wall) or flat wall enamel (for wooden walls).
What about making or finding a start stencil? You could use metallic paint so it wouldn't be such a big contrast between a bright color & the gray color.
Hi, if I remember right I think this company sells stars
