What would go best with brown paneling? (A light pink curtain?) This is for my living room...themes?
Question:I rent so I'm limited. Also, tired of the leopard/jungle theme. Any help is appreciated!

An ocean theme with aqua or seafoam accents (accessories throw pillows) woudl be nice. This looks very nice with brown modern/contemporary looking furniture. Checkout some of the room re-designs on HGTV. They are always inspiring.
You could ask your landlord about painting the paneling. Barring that you could do pale pink, cream, burnt orange, blue. Basically any color it just depends on your other furniture.
Try Martha Stewart paints - my guess is she has an "apricot" that would look wonderful with the brown. Add accents of green
floor plants - Did you know that paneling can be painted? Get the product called "BIN" - at Home Depot - and apply this and then let it dry. Then go an get that "apricot" I mentioned earlier in a "flat" paint (if there is little light in the room go for a semi-gloss,
but not shiny finish). It will look awesome! (I'd stay away from the
pink.it will look more upscale this way).
Hello Kara S.No not light pink.You could use Lime Green,Turquoise,Cream. You could also contrast your curtains, with a patternYou don't say if you have any pattern in the room?But you could always get a remnant say of dress fabric and make cushions.Or put a cheap print on wall echoing colours in room. Add some coloured glass, sit down and enjoy a nice glass of Vino in your new surroundings. Good Luck!
