Girls what color carpet would you choose?
Question:I have a purple room with lepard purple border do you think if i add a purple carpet it would be to much?

I would say thats a lot of purple. I also have a purple room, but I don't have the leopard border. I actually like white or beige carpet but since you have that border I'd have to really see it. My purple room has two shades of purple one dark and one light on opposite walls. Good luck finding a color. :)
go with something that contrasts the purples...

Yes. I would lay down a gray or beige, iiwy.
you can go for soft tones of purple like mauve, it will be co ordinate with your purple room and would not look too purplish.
Yep..I would go with something that matches your border, the lepard print, if you want to go purple go a very differnet shade from your walls, if you have really light walls go dark purple carpet, dark walls light carpeting..
yes thats too much... try a soft color ...like pink or something...ivory (i wish i could see it, i love doing things like this)...and if your a deep person then black
I think the purple carpet will be fine as long as its a different shade. Go lighter than the walls and border as not to make the room look smaller. This way you can accent with darker throw rugs if you want.
I say go with what you like. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you like purple that much go for a purple rug too or you can do any contrast color that is in the leopard print. Good luck and have fun. This is your room so do as you please.
I would add neutral tone carpet because that is something you can't change easily and is expensive. Paint, borders are easy inexpensive fixes.
I love purple and i think black goes great with it.
It wouldn't be too much purple if you were going for a monochromatic color scheme- then a different shade of purple would work. Otherwise I would chose gray, off-white/cream, or a golden tan color.
don't go with the purple carpet because soon after you get it, your gonna be like oh i wish i never got that color! since it's purple, go with a light color like cream, white or another one that you like! I would pick either light green, cream, white, or a really light yellow*
that's cute. it would look too much, since u only mention ur walls. but there are other furnitures and stuffs in your room too so it wont look to much at all. either way, it still looks nice for me :) it would further complement your walls to have a purple carpet. i have a pink room with pink walls,curtains and bed sheet..but my furnitures and other stuffs toned it down. (i also have a book shelf with leopard fabric) it's your room so it really is your choice..:)
