Has anyone used Stanley Steamer?

Question:Has anyone ever used Stanley Steamer?
I called and asked them for a quote and asked if there were any additional fees for anything. The girl said,"no". I asked her to fax a copy of the quote to the office and the notations I asked her to put on the extimate that she told me, had been changed. Also, I asked her to read the notes back to me before we hung up and she said it had already been taken care of and wouldn't. I should have pressed harder for that. Has this happen to anyone? Did the price you were quoted match what they said, or did they add a bunch of stuff when they got out there?

I used them once, but I only did their "coupon" special for x amount of rooms and hallways.

If you kept your notes that is all you should need to keep your case. If you have her name, the date and what was said, that is fuel enough. You should call and speak with the guy/gal in charge and explain your situation, and let them know that you will never recommend their services, etc. Maybe they will work something out. If they are a reputable office, they should. If not, go higher on the branch.
