Faux painting?
Question:can i do faux painting on my textured walls?
Answers:
A glaze application will work on light texture. Also any thick italian plaster will work such a an Italian skiptrowel.but anything such as VEnetian Plaster will not work, it needs a level 5 drywall finish, it resembles marble and needs to be as slick as possible.
We do glaze applications on light orange peel textures all the time but anything heaver than that will not work.
Faux painting? If you are planing on doing some form of sponge/rolling technique with glaze it can be done on Orange Peel textured walls.
I did a rolling technique with glaze in my bathroom (which has orange peel texture) and it looks awesome. It gave the walls a very dimensional stone look!
Experienced person can do it a regular home would make a mess.
of course you can. anything is possible.
