Hi, I don't think you go blind from color blindness. It just makes blues look green, and things like that.
No you can't they don't affect one another. By the way, only males can be colorblind even though the gene is carried by the mother. Just thought it was an interesting fact for you to know! Hope I helped!
No. Color blindness means that you do not see color. They are varying degrees. Some people can see main, bold colors, but can't see varying shades of the main colors. Usually this is termed as color impaired. Others basically see in various shades of gray. My brother is color blind and through the years has learned to distinguish most colors by the shade of gray that it is for him. He still has trouble with purple or blue, green or brown and a few others when the shade is not the normal red, yellow, etc...
Color blindness is genetic, men get it more often than women. It does not change eyesight, or cause blindness.
