I good rule of thumb that seems to work well for room with 9' ceiling and less is about $1.35 per sq. ft. of the room. Therefore 10x12=120 sq.ft. x $1.35 = $162. This is per coat regardless of primer or finish paint. So if the room needs one coat of primer and one coat of paint the cost would be $324. Trim, baseboards, crown moulding are about $0.10 - $0.20 per liner foot of trim. Doors are about $75 both sides including jambs. All of this assumes that the room is empty and ready to paint. It depends on how much you want to spend on the paint. And if your going to paint the ceiling.This might help you, One Gallon of paint covers approximately 400 square ft. One quart 200. One Gallon will paint a 10x12 room,but only if your covering white,or a very light color,and the ceiling is not included.
