Does anyone know on average how much it costs to get a leather lounge recoloured.?

It is a job for a specialist in this field and would cost several hundred pounds. As long as the work is done by someone qualified there shoudl be no problem. Do not try DIY kits off the internet as these generally do not work and will ruin your leather.
If you get it colored keep in mind that the color is laying on the top, and is prone to coming off over time. If it were me, I would not look at your set as yucky, but as someone else's treasure; consider selling it on ebay, or locally. You might be surprised. But if you do try coloring it, keep in mind that leather repair in my area of North Carolina runs at least $75 per hour.
you can reupholster it with a rich brown leather. cost varies with labor and materials and it also depends on which company or stores would reupholster it..
but the estimate is more or less 100dollars.
