I'm decorating my room soon.idea/s?
Question:I was thinking of having my main wall pink and green checkered and the other walls green. does this sound okay?
Or could you suggest any ideas?

a couple of ideas:
*use BIG checks. like maybe a foot and a half by a foot and a half. teeny tiny ones will look to busy and funy against the solid walls.
* you might want to do 2 checked walls
*tie in another color, like maybe white! Get white, wispy curtains to give your room an airy look if you have alot of windows. get a white eyelet comfortor, and pink and green pillows (lotsa throw ones!)
*your lizard will look cool in there! just make sure his table is bigger than his tank. it looks funny if they are the same size or the tank is bigger.
*if you have hardwood, find a white or pink or green throw rug.

I have no clue how your room is, what color is the furniture? what material is? what color is your door? the windows? what material? green and pink can go well together all depends how you use them.

Choosing colors is definitely a personal choice, but those colors should look alright when paired.
One thing I'd suggest is keeping the ceiling a light color as dark colors will make a room look small and claustrophobic.

Hi, the colors sound good. My suggestion is to make the checkered blocks kind of big. If they're too small it might look too busy with all the other stuff you have going in there. And, bigger ones are easier to paint too!

Hard to say without any other info. Do you like a country or country french look? That is what it sounds like. Be sure you love the checks, because I have done things in the house and then grew tired of them and it was hard to change or work around.
