Most comfortable sheets?

Question:Hey guys Im trying to find the most comfortable sheets on the market, but I'm afraid I dont know much about it. I cant decide whether egyptian cotton, silk, or satin is the best. And it its close, could you give me an idea of the general consensus as well as your own?

If it helps I'm a single male, so I want something women will enjoy too.

Answers:
Go with the highest thread count in egyptian cotton you can find. It's soft in a way that makes me want to stay in bed forever. They're spendy, but worth it. Silk and satin don't breathe as well and can get a bit sticky in warm weather or if things get heated for other reasons ;)

i have 800 count egyptian cotton sheets.. 1000 count sheets are nice too.. silk sheets are nice too, but might be a little too much.. (it would kinda freak me out) i'd stick with the egyptian cotton.. 800 to 1000 count..
For me jersey knit sheets are by far the most comfortable. And inexpensive as well. With 500 thread count sheets, 200, or 100.. it takes a couple of washes to get them "un-papery". (If you could call that a word.) Silk and Satin tend to get alot of static. At least in my experiance. Good luck!
We like West Point Stevens sheets and comforters. The sheets are soft and the comforter is the softest, and warm, and cozy and comes in themes that are good for both sexes. My husband loves it, and my kids are always climbing in our bed when they want to nap because they love it too. Good luck. I believe that whatever you like though, so will your partner.
I have only slept on silk once, it was great, and I have satin sheets which I save for special occasions, especially cool on hot nights, But I love my Egyptian cotton. You want to impress a lady then get cotton and wash it every two weeks at the latest. It is the only practical solution for sleeping unless you have a maid, and heaps of cash, then maybe silk. Silk and satin are hard to take care of and need to be ironed every time, so beware the hidden cost of luxury, also if you try to impress a date in Australia with silk or satin she will call you a tosser and leave you to w**k.
Stay away from Silk or Satin -
it is most uncomfortable.
Good quality cotton is your best bet and avoid bright colours.
If you cannot find a solid colour or stripe that turns you on - then stick to white.
egyptian cotton 800-1000 thread count is awesome. super soft and comfortable.
