What are the design characters of Mexican homes?
Question:Character of modern Mexican homes
Answers:
Hi Alicia,
I assume you're interested in traditional Mexican decor with rich fabrics, pottery, metal work, etc.
Here's an article from Garden and Hearth that will help you gain an understanding of the decor and how best to use it to your taste.

Having lived in Spain for a number of years, I recognize many of that country's influences in Mexican decor. There's also a heavy South West influence. It would appear to be a marriage of the two styles. However, a lot of people will assume you're talking about the SW style (as the other reader did referencing Taco Bell) when you really might want something with a heavy spanish influence.
Here are two links that might help you:

Good Luck!
Alicia---The homes in Mexico look like ours here in the lower 48 states---their are rich---pooor---and middle class--depends on how much money you can afford to spend. If you are talking about fronts of homes that look like a TACO BELL. Or the Alomo in Texas is that type of design. Check Homes and Land Mag or on line and take a look.
very similar to SPANISH motive..orange tile roofs
rich, bright interior colors lots of pottery. stucco fronts lots of
wrought iron..but remember that all countries have rich and
poor...so designs vary.
