What is the best weedkiller for a patio and gravelled beds?
Question:I`ve tried allsorts of weedkiller and weeds keep returning.I need some thing to last for at least 6 months.thank you.
Answers:
our whole property is 4 inches deep in gravel and i use ORTHO GROUNDCLEAR. it works in about 7 days and lasts one year!
Deeproot for Paths and Patios - anything that has Glyphospahte.
Gasoline works the best.
I use Round Up for the tough weeds and areas. If you buy it by the gallon condensed, you can control the strength of the spray that you will use.
Round Up will initially kill both top growth and root. Then go for a long term non emergent weedkiller which will prevent reseeding.
Pathclear lasts for 6 months(according to the ad. on the T.V.)
I use round up on my weeds, you can get in from a diy store in a trigger spray bottle. Give the weeds a good soaking on a dry day, they after a week go brown and dye. Hurrah! Lasts all summer. Great!
