u need to think about what things you like to do or what are your likes of characters or where is your favorite place to visit.
Then from there u can make your theme.
Do u like Disney characters, Barbie, Bratz, a certain tv show... or do you like to swim, play games, play sports, your favorite singer, do you like to dance? Those type of things.
Then pick one that u like the most & go with that. Say for instant: swim... then do u'r walls in a wash of light blue & green-blue. U could paint one wall that looks like the ocean with fish & seashells... then go from that to use those colors in your room. U can go with the darker of the colors of light blue or darker of the green-blue for pillows... cushions for the floor... shelves... frames. (paint them to match) If you can paint your furniture, then do them white or creme color & glue seashells to your draw knobs...
When u think of your favorite thing... what do u think of? Look at the colors & pick 2 mayb 3 colors & use 1 or 2 on the wall & the other for accents.
