Where can I purchase furniture and home appliances in Canberra?

Question:I will be moving in the next month and a half to Canberra and I am clueless as to where I can buy home furniture and appliances. Any suggestions of stores I can shop/browse online and or have my boyfriend go check these out (he just moved there as well)? Thanks =)

It's like any other city -- do a search online.

Fyschwick is a good place to go. It's in NSW just outside of Canberra not far from the airport. It's an industrial type area but has furniture stores etc out there.
