My very best advice , find the material that you really like and have them made or make them yourself if you can. Another good idea is if you have sheets that you find that you really like and can't find matching curtains . buy an extra set of sheets and as before make them or have them made. Shop around and get design idea's , then make or have them made. As far as blinds go , well you can buy a pull down blind and decorate them the way you want them to look. You can paint them or glue things on them ... what ever you prefer. Be creative and make sure you do them in something that you like . Hope this helps. Good Luck !
Personally, I think Target has some really great window treatments. They have nice panel curtains, which I think add a nice touch to a room. Also, you might want to check your local lowes or home depot for blinds. Hope you find what you're looking for!
the best kind are custom made- and you don't need to sew. Just use fusable tape and iron on.
If you buy curtains- personalize them yourself by adding ribbons around the sides and bottoms,or paint them.
i agree with northville. i would add that you can buy flat sheets instead of going to a curtain store. you can even create curtains made out of 2 different fabrics
