Is it okay to paint your kitchen blue in feng shui?

Question:We have a kitchen in the Northwest, not good for feng shui I know. But we were considering painting the kitchen a blue color, would that help? Is that an okay color to paint your kitchen?

Answers:
While the water element may minimally suppress the fire at heaven's gate, it will bring a lot more problems due to the wu xing five element cycle not being in harmony. The fire element will clash with the water element, never a good thing. New age feng shui for some reason always think that the best way to handle the fire element is water, which is wrong.

Try to use earthy pastel colors to exhaust the fire element gracefully, solving both problems at once.

You do know that feng shui is a bunch of bullshit, right?
Totally agree with The Wisp.

Bullshit. Maybe brown for Bullshit is a better color for your kitchen.
Choose colors that blend and feel good together. Feng Shui-wise, color yellow is very good for digestion, and you can have it as light as "butter yellow" or as vibrant as "squash yellow."
from a feng shui point of view, painting a kitchen blue is a disaster!

the blue color is not good for the digestion process... have u ever seen a natural food that's blue? some ppl even try to lose wight by placing blue light in their fridge, it's repelling... but i wouldn't recommend that either...

even if u eat outside the kitchen but u must have some snacks or sometimes meals in it...

instead, use any other color u like... orange is best for kitchens because unlike blue it stimulates digestion and it's very cheerful if u like it... yellow is another good option... and of course the green family of colors...

u can however use yr favorite color with little touches of blue here and there if u wish... that should b ok...!

i hope i helped... good luck and "bon appetite"...!
