I'm going to be living a VERY tiny bedroom in an apartment next year. How do I make it nice?
Question:as in not cluttered. really theres only enough room for a twin bed and a small desk. but im a girl with lots of clothes and crap that im really attached to so i dont know what to do!

well... organize...!
1. i know u said u have a lot of belongings that u like 2 keep... but try to get rid of some... keep only the most useful or meaningful to u... it's a sign of maturity if u can get rid of things... better yet, give them to some1 who need them!
2. go for some creative storage and double duty furniture if u can afford that... like shelves... a bed with shelves and/or drawers underneath... a bunk bed with one bed and a ladder, where u can place a desk, a drawer, or even a sofa under the bed... etc.
3. mirrors will expand yr room, but b careful... if there is clutter it will look doubled with mirror... so place yr mirrors right...
4. use light subdued colors only if u like them and avoid huge contrast... don't use too many colors and patterns, cos for a small room this is too cluttery!
5. some recommended beads for the door... well not if u value yr privacy... and it will not help yr cause much...
6. as i said at the start... organize. it's up to you to keep everything in place... try storing everything not needed on regular bases, and keep things that displayed few and neat.

This is one trick that will spice up any room: take the door off and put beads hanging in its place. Trust me, it works
Get a single bed, unless you plan to share it. Get one of those beds with storage space underneath--you can put your stuff in there.
Go through the crap and get rid of anything you're not likely to use. Give it to the charity shop or whatever. You will fee much lighter and freer.
hmm thats a hard one..i had a problem just lyk urs a couple of years ago i had to ither get rid of it or store it under the bed...because i havnt seen how small the space is i cant really give ideas soo yer all the best wishes..THIS answer may not have been helpful and a waste of time
yeah replace door with beads. and hang up posters of your idols, etc. and make it as roomy* as you can.
* Roomy depends on your sense of roominess. For example if you think "neat is golden" then make it tidy. if you think a lil' mess is perfect then dont tidy ur room too often.

Get a pull down bed and drawers that slide under the bed, slelving for your shoes and put the shoes in pretty boxes to make a feature from them.
look at the ikea website. You'll get tons of ideas. You can get a loft bed and put your desk underneath. You can get a futon. You can get a bed with drawers underneath for storage.
Ikea also has tons of storage ideas for closets (not sure if you have a closet or not). I jsut saw an ad in the newspaper and it says they are having their summer sale (not sure if its just at my location).
You may want to add shelves for additional storage space.
another tip is to put away you winter clothes when its spring/summer time (summer clothes when its winter). I put them in containers and store them elsewhere.

Try to eliminate as much as possible. Buy some of those storage containers that slide under the bed - they're great space savers! In addition to the small desk, I would suggest buying a small chest of drawers or dresser, or even a large nightstand - that would give you more storage space as well. If space is very limited, I'd go with the nightstand.

now dont paint or paper the room with dark colors..as itll make it look smaller.. and if you dont have room to have alot in your rooma s far as on the floor area ..how about going upward/? like a stakableshelves? theres alot of neat ideas out there so just sit and think about your room and draw some pics sweetie..good luck
