Sky do a deal which includes SKY tv as well as Bband and calls. BT don't.
Sky & Bt are incohoots.I have NTL which has been took over by Virgin.Free installation & your phone is left free.
Both do so called un-limited broadband, the small print says they will slow down your connection to virtually zero if you use it more than 5 mins a day (slight exaggeration!) The sky package is £30 a month for broadband/tv/local calls. BT are the worst value out there.
I've been with Sky since they started. Apart from a few teething problems they have been fine and the customer service is one of the best I've dealt with.
They do an offer of Sky TV, Sky Broadband and Sky Talk for £26 per month. Evening and weekend calls are free. That's not an introductory offer, that's permanent.
I've heard a lot of horror stories about BT and I also have family on it who think they are great.
But for value for money, Sky are best.
