How hard is it to sand down a bed and repaint it a different color?

Question:

Answers:
You can paint over stain. It may take more than one coat if you want a lighter color. If you can dismantle the bed at all it is easier to paint the pieces.

is it painted already? I would spray Kilz it then paint over it. IF it's wood... then yes... u have to said it to re-stain it but again if u'r gonna paint it.. KILz spray paint it then use foam brushes for no brush marks. Take your time & do what u can & let dry throughly then turn/flip to the rest.
It's easy, especially since you don't really need to sand it at all. You can use liquid sandpaper, which softens up the existing layer of paint so that the 1st coat of primer you apply will stick. Primer is important as it seals the wood, and covers well. After the primer, you apply 2 coats of your preferred paint, allowing to dry thoroughly between all coats.
