Well, how about blue and brown? You could do a reasonably priced bed in a bag like this one from target:

A chair like this might be nice, without arms, for ease of getting in and out of, in a small room.

For organizing I would check out either Target or Linens 'n Things for their storage or organization departments. There are so many things available now from under bed, over door, shoe bag, etc.
Well i do have some ides try painting your walls blue with purple dots(make them big) put a light purple comforter on you bed and get cool lighting and decorations. Have a Desk or study area too see how that works and then email me at ayanamay0786@yahoo.com!
U could paint some of the stuff you have.
Posters, art, brochures and tickets from places you've been
Get a bean bag chair.
Get a small dry erase board and bulletin board to organize events.
Get some plastic cabinets or foldable bags ( they come in different colors.
Painting- light green walls and blue polka dots
Bed- dark green and light blue pillow cases
Chair- get a green moon chair
Organize- get a bullentin board/dry erase board and plastic dressers
First-you have the best name-its mine too! Just for some fun info-my Dad got mine from an Edgar Rice Burroughs bought-the writer and creator of Tarzan of the Apes. Jana was the beautiful cave girl-princess of the tribe-Anyway,
to get ideas-go to PB Teen-Pottery Barn Teen. They have a site. The furniture etc is a bit expensive for you but you could get ideas.
My daughters room is a soft aqua with white trim. We re-painted the furniture in white and sanded it to "shabby chic" it. Her comfortor is chocolate and she has aqua and floral pillows. I spray painted her lamp and got a new shade-alot of times you can find funky lamps etc in goodwill for next to nothing-spray paint can do wonders. Also vases, old frames-we found a really hideous ornate one-threw away the art and sanded and painted it white to match furniture. Then we put in a bulletin board-you could also put in a sheet of masonite and paint it with chalkboard paint.
She's going to a b/w mix with old hollywood glamour photos with the aqua next year but this looks really nice now.
Go on Ikeas website too-and HGTV and DIY networks-they have lots of referance photos-have fun!
Even look on walmarts site too-you'd be surprized.
Brown, white and pink looks cool-like neopolitan ice cream.

For everything I'm going to tell you, I'm picturing it all together. You can change what you want if you like it, but this is my plan.
Let us start out with your colors. I would suggest taking the brown and putting it together with a bright green and a soft purple, probably a lavender color.
I would make two opposing walls the brown, the other two opposing walls the purple, then make the trim the bright green. Pick the purple for the ceiling since it's softer and it will open the space up more. Also, it will give a better reaction to any lighting in the room.
http://www.wakeupfrankie.com/store/index... - Here is a section of this site where you can buy amazing bedsets. Here is the set I chose for this room is http://www.wakeupfrankie.com/ensemble.as... . This would be a good choice because it emphasizes your trim color and adds a splash of vibrant color to the otherwise dark and pale colors of the room. The sheets for this bed should be http://www.wakeupfrankie.com/store/item. so you can match the walls still.
Now depending on if you want a back to the chair or a stylish splash of color, use http://asc-lighting.stores.yahoo.net/pup... as a table or extra seating when you're entertaining. It's incredibly comfy ( I have one) but also handy for more than one task.
As far as storage goes, take crates or boxes that you've got lying around and paint them. This is a cheap way to make some storage. If not, buy the checkerboard design of http://asc-lighting.stores.yahoo.net/pls...
Now lighting can be used to increase the size of your room or to make people feel more interested in it. http://asc-lighting.stores.yahoo.net/med... is a lamp that has plenty of light. Bend the lights in different directions to illuminate more than one part of the room. Place it in a corner and have the red, green, and yellow shining on the purple and the orange, blue, and natural shining on the brown walls. This http://asc-lighting.stores.yahoo.net/min... in green is a great table or bedside piece that adds a flare of creativity to the room, while I would get either the second or the fourth of http://asc-lighting.stores.yahoo.net/tep... to put in the other corners of the room.
Put this clock http://asc-lighting.stores.yahoo.net/pas... in green on a wall and you're pretty much set for purchases.
You can decorate the walls with posters and pictures, also, but make sure that every wall has something on it.
If you have any shirts you don't fit into anymore, you can use them to make nice accent pillows by sewing the bottoms, cutting the sleeves and tops off, and stuffing them.
Good luck with this job. If you need any extra help, or you'd like to get some ideas for how to further redo your room effectively but not expensively, then feel free to e-mail me.
