What colour(s) of furniture can go with grey colour walls ?
Question:My father has spent great time, effort and money to build a nice house. The walls of the entrance inside and main living room were painted grey which we believe it is uncomfortable colour and hard to deal with. My mother is upset for that. Now it is difficult to change the colour and we have to stick with it. What furniture colour can go with grey walls?
It is not light grey and not dark! but something between !!
Answers:
I would go with black or white furniture to break up all that gray. Then add color with paintings, drapes, accessories. You can use any color as the third color.
You have a wide selection of colours then if you have gry walls, brown leather, patterened clothe funiture, red leather there is so much out there, when you see a colour that you like, look elsewhere and if the first one or even second one keeps popping up in your mind then you will know what colour to choose.happy furniture hunting...
grey is a great color! it's fairly neutral and alot of stuff goes w/ it. Is there carpet or tile? what color is that?
If the floors are light i'd go w/ darker furniture, wither a darker grey than the walls or a medium brown, maybe even a light navy or brushed suede.
If the floors are dark go w/ something lighter and a pattern if you want, medium reds and light tans or greys should look fine. Or even white, (if there's no pets or kids).
Cranberry would be beautiful and you could accessorize with cranberry glass.
