Can I paint polycarbonate roofs to make them cool on summer?

Polycarbonate roof for green homes is suppose to let the light in.. you'll block the light.. this may not be advantages to your building.. however.. if it was to improved the spaces lighting for reasons of pleasantries.. then maybe loss of light is better then the heat being created..

yes you can paint them.. but can you reach them? can you remove the paint later on? how important is the strength of the paint to remain in place? what kind of condition is it exposed to?

There are a lot of paints you can use.. but how permanent do you want it to be.. and how accessible is the roof?

Can you reach the roof easily or relatively easily and add some fabric inside the house to stop the sun from beating down on the floors or other objects that may absorb the light and radiate it back as heat?

If money is not an issue.. or you have some flexibility with money.. they make sky light roofing materials that are insulated.. to aid in capturing the cooling or AC inside the building.. ** I actually read about it yesterday.. Multi layers of material sandwiched together.. grains running in particular directions that's a bit more beneficial for letting in light but not dispersing the heat.. wow.. that's a rough concept.. anywhoo**
