I had new floor coverings done but the company still haven't sent me an invoice.?
Question:The honest thing to do is call them and ask when they want paying, but in my shoes and considering its nearly 5 grand what would you do? Do you think they will send it or and this is my question really.. if the have forgotten about it.. how long before the invoice is invalid?
Answers:
They have not forgotten about it the invoice might have come during the end of a billing cycle and it is being delayed. Just as soon as you for get about it, it will show up in the mail. Best give them a call and get it over with. If they did lose you paper work than they may tell you enjoy the free floor.
They won't forget about it. Not for five grand. It will come when you think it's all behind you. More likely it has got lost in the post, and they will be sending a reminder or the bailiffs.
Best to call them.
Karma..
Call them
Yes the honest thing to do would be to call them
They have probably gotten busy or they may bill at the end of the month. In either case you will owe them the money no matter when they send the invoice
The honest thing would be for you to called them. They did a job for you and should be paid for their services.
You don't say how long it's been since your floor was installed, but yes, the best thing to do is to call them.
Speaking from the stand point of a flooring manager in a retail store, I can say that there are times that I have been SO slammed and overwhelmed, that I have not had a chance to sit down a write up an invoice after each and every job to hand to the billing department. It's not that I lost anyone, it's just one of those stinking things that happened. BUT, before the end of each month, I always made a point to just close my door, not answer the phone and get the invoices out - if it's been longer than a month, call them - it always pays to do what's honest.
