How to paint straight lines on walls and along crown molding with textured walls? It seems to bleed a little.

Question:

Answers:
The trick?

Use a small pry bar to lift the crown moulding away from the wall just a bit...paint it...then thump it back down using a hammer on a cloth covered block.

That's all.

I just finished painting some stuff at work and i used painters tape to make straight lines..worked pretty well..try not to push the paint to hard around the side where the tape is to prevent it from bleeding.
what he means to say is BLUE painter's tape. You can buy it at any home improvement store.

painting the molding first overlapping the paper will make it easier to cut the paper into the molding.if that makes sense to you.(its easier when embossed paper is already painted.I'm a decorator of 15 years
