Deck staining?

Question:

Answers:
I`m not sure what the question is. How do you do it ? What materials might you need ? What type of stain ? All of the above ? I`m sure different people do it different ways, but heres how I do it. Your local home center should have several types of outdoor decking stain, check with them on which one is best for your area & how much you`ll need for the size of your deck. You probably want to get one with a sealer, or water repellant. You can use a paint brush, or a roller, but I put it into my sprayer. (weed or bug sprayer, or electric paint sprayer). I spray as much as I can without getting it on the house or lawn, or sidewalk. I cut in around the edges with a brush. Clean the sprayer out with paint thinner. Simple!

Dont try this at home! I speak from experience.. hahaha!

I have an elevated deck. It's off of the 2nd story. I just made a complete mess of everything.. including myself.

Hire someone.
if your wood has been treated you have to wait at least 3 months before staining it. then you can stain it using a semi tranparent stain of soild stain. then put on a coat of waterseal and then you are done.
