I have a cheap white shelve and need an idea to make it look good for a kids room.?

Question:

Answers:
We've used car paint on basic simple wooden things & they come out looking extremely, rich and expensive & can be almost any color imaginable. The shine is like a mirror & lasts forever. My husband works in a body shop so if you know someone in the industry ask them about it. something simple & cheap becomes custom & unique.

is it a bookcase? if it's a metal industrial shelf then you can buy a pretty cover called wallperfect dot com
if it's a girl stencil paint what the room is in like disney princesses or butterflies. if it's a boy do the same but, in something like cars or something boyish. or decorate it with a hot glue gun and some ribbon around the edges.hope this helps.
Paint it...
Paint it to match the wall color of the room...but nvr paint a shelve the same color as the wall <SO TACKY>...paint it the color of most of the accessories in the room or a color that would complement the color on the wall.or you should just paint it the color of the comforter on the bed. since u said it was cheap add accessories to make it look expensive...simple photo albums and dolls or toy trucks will do the trick...hope i could help
