Room makeover need help please?
Question:I live in a rented house and i want to decorate. Is there a site where i can send photos of rooms and someone will help me with colours and layout.I am on a buget so the cheaper the better,thanks

Well...I'm no professional, but I am a graphic design student and I'm working to become an interior designer, I have a site with painting and decorating ideas (mostly for teens though). I'm always looking to help some one on a bidget, my specialty, and if you send me some pics I'll try my best to help, if your interested.
do a google search on living etc. they have a great website - lots of the stuff is really expensive, but you can copy the ideas. they also produce a monthly magazine. I have subscribed to it for years! In general - anything the expensive designers do - Ikea do versions that are way cheaper!
I always decorate with white or neutral paints and then accesorise with colours.
Lots of large stores do design services - such as Laura Ashley, Debenhams etc but it will cost you a small fortune for their services. Also, you live in the house so generally have a better idea than they do about what will suit. You know how the room looks at different times of the day etc - Just go pinch other peoples ideas rather than pay for them!
