How much should i pay to get my kitchen floor tiled?

Question:15ft - 8ft

Answers:
It really is quite easy to tile a kitchen floor yourself, especially one this small.

But either way, if you go to a home improvement store like Home Depot to pick out your tile, you can always arrange to have the store install it for you--they have sub-contractors who they give these jobs to. Presumably they have been vetted as to their competancy and level of skill.

It doesn't cost anything to get a quote.

Show up to the store with pictures of the kitchen, and a diagram showing all the dimensions.

why not save the money and do it yourself ?
Tilers charge between 20-25 pounds per metre sq to tile
It depends on what type of tilles etc, quarry tiles are expensive. What is your budget, it's hard for us to say because everyone has a different budget.
depends on how large it is
whether it's on a stone, wood, floorboard surface.

the quality of your tiles

Its not hard to do, have a go yourself you'll be surprised otherwise it can cost anything depending on type of tiles you want and how much a hour charged by tiler, i guess £200 or around there. (Approx. 12.5 square metres)
Depends on quality of tiles as some can be very costly.

My bathroom is around that size and I paid £500 including tiles and tiles were not that expensive.
that's about 11 or 12 square metres. the total cost will be materials plus labour. floor tiles cost anything from £5 per square metre for cheap ones, to £30 per sq metre, or a lot more if you go real fancy. say £10 times 12 sq m is £120. plus a bit for adhesive.
labour ? depends where you are. i go on £150 per bloke, per day. do they have to rip up a load of existing tiles? (half a day) and do they need to hire a small skip? (£75 ish) and then 1 day to lay them and half day to grout.
maybe 300 quid all in.
I would allow approx £15-£20 per square yard
Depends but round here they charge around £100-£150 per day plus materials (i live in the london borough of merton)
at the most $600

try getting a couple of quotes of flooring companys you dont say what type of tiles plastic type or ceramics
invest in a electric tile cutter £25-"£30 pounds,a laying trowel, and a grouting float about £10.00 and have a go yourself and save about £200.00,find the centre of the floor ,and work from there,it really isn't difficult,i know because Ive just finished mine, and not to blow a trumpet, but it looks great.just take your time, and don't rush, and you will be rewarded with self gratification and a nice new floor.
