How to paint ur room?
Question:Im gonna paint my room red and black. i just dont know how to do it. should i paint the celing red and the walls black. or the walls red and the celing black.

you have to consider the size of the room first off. Dark colors shrink a room to the look. Eigther way I would likely paint the ceiling black and walls red. Whoever does this job best be a good cutter with a brush or the job will look terrible, and do not use tape. Any painter that knows how to will do a better job without it. I've been a journeyman painter for 30 years almost. You really do not want black on your walls because it shows every little mark possible, including just a finger print.

i think that you should paint the ceiling black and the walls red.. that way the room will seem a bit more spacious and not so dark.
you could also paint 2 walls red and 2 black but then the roof would not look nice white, either way its your choice

Well, it depends on a lot of things. What colour is your floor?
Is it a hard wood or a soft carpet? And how big is your room? If you have a light floor and a big room you can paint the ceiling red and the walls black and make sure you have some red items in your room to tie in the red on your ceiling. A good idea would be to buy bed sheets, pictures and lamps in red, for example. You could also have 3 walls black and 1 wall red, that would stand out and give your room a more interesting look. But if you have a small room and dark floors, painting your room black will make it look like a closet as dark colours make the room appear smaller. In that case, I would paint the walls red and the ceiling black. Though, if you paint the ceiling black, it will make the ceiling seem lower, so you have to be careful with that. In my opinion, I would go with the red ceiling and black walls, and again make sure you have other items in your room that will lighten it up and tie in the red.
